Teen who feared curved spine would end her dancing career back dancing

Amy Hossain was a teenage dancer who suddenly noticed severe back pain while dancing and performing simple tasks such as walking up a flight of stairs. Her parents originally attested the problem to “growing pains” but it turned out to be scoliosis. She was initially told that her only way of recovery would be through a lengthy surgery, but this would most likely end her dancing career.

Instead, she tried an exercise based treatment and she began notice results within days.

Since starting the exercise, she has been able to resume her dancing career. Recently, along with her dancing partner, she placed in a prestigious competition in Paris. She continues to dance and her scoliosis is all but cured. It should be noted that her particular treatment method will not necessarily work for everyone. Those that currently suffer from scoliosis are still advised to consult with their scoliosis specialist for proper treatment practices.
