Researchers develop new system to detect spinal deformity

Researchers from the Hokkaido University have developed a system that can help detect numerous spinal deformity factors before they become serious. The scan works along multiple points on the spine, identifying potential problems, and giving patients the ability to see a problem before it becomes something more serious. Though it has not yet been cleared for clinical use, there is hope that it will be in the near future.
