Is That REALLY Madonna Wearing A SpineCor Scoliosis Brace?
No, that’s not really Madonna performing in a SpineCor scoliosis brace, but Madonna did have her daughter Lourdes use a SpineCor brace when she developed scoliosis as a teen!
The girl performing in the photo is a remarkable young lady named Jessica Mendoza. When she was 26 years old learned that her scoliosis had progressed to a severe level and decided that it was time to do something about it. She sought treatment with us in our New York City office and at first struggled adjusting to course of treatment she chose, but then she decided to reframe how she viewed her scoliosis journey and decided to take on the mantra:
“When you have scoliosis you have no choice but to embrace your curves.”
Can you send the pictures used during your lecture. I only see you talking and no pictures…
I have had trouble viewing the webinar other than Dr. Diaz speaking. Thank you for putting this webinar together and increasing awareness about Scoliosis and its history and treatments.
I see you and not the presentation! Still very informative.
Thanks!

I wish I could see his screen. Would be very helpful to view his descriptions. Any chance of running this again so we can see it? Or send us the powerpoint?
Stella,
I had a challenge with the Screen Share feature in the Original Webinar but I did re-record it with the slides this time. I sent our a copy of it last Saturday so you should have it in your email.
I could not view the slides during the webinar. Would you be able to send a handout with the slides?
Thanks
Crhistine
Are there supposed to be slides in this presentation?
is there any powerpoint also?
Dr. Diaz, thank you for organizing this seminar.
Can you send the powerpoint of what you where showing?

can i get a copy of the presentation?
Do you have an office in Ontario?
Great presentation, even without the slides. I will look for the webinar (hopefully with slides) on your You Tube channel. What is this business of locations where you and your colleagues are visiting around the country? Without the benefit of the slides, I do not not know whether my location (Tucson, AZ) is near there. I am interested in Schroth exercises and SpineCor brace. I talked to one of your doctors once, but I was not ready to pursue at the time.
You can find the list of locations of the home page of this site.
Thank you for your presentation. I have 30 years of experience in health and fitness: certifications in massage, shiatsu, personal training, yoga, and masters in nutrition and pilates. I own private studio dedicated to a multi-discipline approach. Most of my clients have some degree of scoliosis and I seem to attract that clientele. I am interested in your method so I can continue to further develop my eye to see so I can even more precisely move them in directions of no harm. What is the best way to approach furthering my education to dedicate my passion to their continued wellness?
Unfortunately, as far as I know the only two places that are currently teaching the Schroth Method both require a physical therapy degree to attend the classes.
Just wanted you to know that we were not able to see any of the pictures you were talking about. You were on the screen the whole time and we were unable to see any of the diagrams or examples you were talking about. I also submitted my answer to your question and am not sure whether that went through or not.
Lisa,
Thank you for your feedback. I found out afterwards that the Screen Share was not working. Google Hangout is a new technology that I am still getting used to. I thought I had it set up correctly but I was wrong. I will do another version that will have the slides and send that out. I am sure it will make a lot more sense to you then.
Dr. Diaz
Can’t answer your question. Would love to see the slides, however.
Hi Dr. Diaz,
Thanks for the great content. I believe your visual content is blocked by my organization.
However, I can see you talking. 🙂

Dr. Diaz- Is it being recorded correctly and available for replay later? Thanks, Dr. Rick
As a 56 year old moderately active still flexible woman, what is the best thing I can do to minimize any further damage to my health because of my severe scoliosis(two curves, a twist and a slippage) within the last 6 months my left heel has gone numb, which I am told was due to nerve damage because of my spine. this scares me tremendously since I have always been very proactive about not letting this scoliosis limit me in my activities and daily life.
I have a spinecor brace but can no longer afford the costs of travel for follow up visits. I also have the Scroth Method book but am still confused about some of it so would like to attend classes if the situation ever presents itself(both financially and geographically)
Move it or lose it has always been my motto but with this numbness coming on in my foot I am afraid this is not enough and at a loss as to what to do. Any advice will be appreciated.
thank you,
Julia Guinn
Julia, As I guess you have learned, the Schroth Book is a difficult read. These exercises are really something that must be taught in person, at least initially. They are detailed and require a lot of hands on correction by the instructor. If you can make it to one of our offices we can teach them to you and adjust your brace after the visit.
Would you be able to send a handout with the slides?
Thanks
Crhistine
Very interesting.
Good job! I was delayed, not live. I guess you were informed that you were on camera, not your slides. Oh well, next time…
Did someone win the prize? I got the correct answer.
I may have to motivate myself to do the NuSchroth exercises, and read the books.
Thanks!
Is there an office in Arizona? I thought there was an office in Phoenix.
Yes. We have an office in Phoenix.
The growth modulation aberration does not apply to me a 67yr. old man struck by a SUV .The aspect of brain involvement intrigues me because I had a severe concussion in addition to a number of fractures.Could brain damage influence this neuro- muscular disparity or could the vertebral displacement result from the blunt trauma to the vertebral column or both? I like the explanation of what the spine cor orthosis does;it clears up a lot of concern for me. I loved the quality of information of the lecture . I’ m was a respiratory therapist and a cardio pulmonary rehab thearpist so the information was very pertinent to me .I am awaiting the outcome of a law suit that will hopefully allow the funds to participate in the program.
I loved the presentation. Thanks a lot Dr. Diaz

Hi,
I missed the webinar.
Wondering if you have recorded the webianr.
If so, would appreciate if I can get the recording link.
